My wife and I ate at Teeter House this June for our anniversary. Nubuo-san was a student of Kurita-san from Shinbay. Nobuo-san used to run SeeSaw in Old Town Scottsdale, but moved to Teeter House (right next to the AZ Science Center) a few years ago. Kurita-san is an older chef, stern and serious. Some of my friends don't care for Kurita-san as he's nowhere near as friendly as Nobuo-san at Teeter House. I had the absolute best (by far) nigiri at Shinbay that I've ever had anywhere in my entire life. My wife and I ate the omakase (chef's choice menu) here for our anniversary last year. Shinbay is run by sushi chef Shinji Kurita. There are two top-of-the-line Sushi restaurants in Phoenix.
