Does it have a free database website like Passmark with They are a cool site though and I do sometimes go look at them myself.ģDmark isn't free, I don't own it and most people on these forums don't either. They use different benchmarks for almost every comparison. For what it's worth, CPU Boss and GPU Boss sometimes use Passmark.Īlso they do not consistantly use the same benchamrks for all their comparisons so this leads me to worry that they may be fudging their results by selectively displaying only the results they want to convey. When comparing CPUs they pretty much covers everything, there are also GPUboss and SSDboss.Īnd yeah I do enjoy a good debate, but dont think I do it just to contradict you. Gaming wise, 3Dmark is the benchmark to use, I'm not saying that passmark is a bad benchmark, but simply measuring raw power wont give you an idea on how it will perform in games, by the logic of that bench, those Xeons would blow everything out of water but then again they get beaten by far cheaper cpus, simply for having less more optimized cores. It maybe was a bug, after the refresh it scored 7.9.

What in your opinion is a good benchmarking suite? Or do you just enjoy debating me?

Test your computer hardware against all Official PC game system requirements. I think you or someone else hacked it, you have a virus or a bug. Benchmark your GPU here 161,132 User Benchmarks Score +12 Game FPS +18 Value. If you're comparing two laptop GPUs, you may take this into account when choosing between the two, since a cooler laptop generally runs faster for longer.Αναρτήθηκε αρχικά από Rove:Well I looked online and no one else scores 7.9 with that CPU. Adequate cooling is essential for good performance. If temperatures get too high (typically around 100 ☌ or 200 ☏), the GPU will lower its performance in order to prevent damage to the chip. This has an impact on system temperatures. It measures how much data can be sent at one to and from the memory.Ī final point of comparison is the TDP (Thermal Design Power), a measurement of how much energy is lost as heat when a GPU is running. In constast, the memory bus width doesn't directly impact performance but rather the memory bandwidth. Higher speed is better as the graphics card won't need to wait for memory access before rendering a frame to the screen. In addition, memory bandwidth relates to the speed at which the GPU memory can be accessed. Too little memory may result in stuttering as the GPU tries to swap and fit everything in memory. A higher core clock speed may cause higher heat output, however.įurthermore, memory is important for high resolutions and high resolution textures in games, if you're gaming at 4K or even 8K lots of memory is required.

It's incredibly easy to use as well, allowing you to run the entire suite of benchmarks. With benchmarks for CPU, GPU, RAM, and disk speed, along with temperature and battery monitors, Novabench is our top recommendation for the best all-in-one benchmark. When thermals and power delivery allow, the GPU will raise its core clock to the boost clock for even more performance. Difficult to tell if components operating efficiently. Compare GPU SpecsĬore Clock speed and Boost clock speed directly influence gaming performance of similar cards, typically the higher, the better. If benchmark scores aren't enough, you can also compare raw GPU performance and technical specs. Our comparison allows you to view the advantages and disadvantages of each spec for spec. If heat and noise is a concern, in a laptop computer for instance, you may want to find the most efficient GPU. When gaming on a high-resolution monitor, you may want to find the best value graphics card with the most memory. This is a test of gaming and compute performance. If you want the best GPU on the market, you can compare the hardwareDB GPU benchmark scores of each, the highest score wins. Compare two graphics cards using the form above, or select a pair from the popular comparisons section.įinding the best GPU for your needs can depend on many factors. What is the best graphics card?
